What do Station Couriers get asked every day?

At Station Couriers, we know the world of parcel and pallet delivery like the back of our hands but we understand the concept of it can be quite daunting to some.
Our staff are here to help you and answer your enquiries but there are some questions that we get asked on a daily basis. Here we have listed them to help inform you of the process we go through to send your goods.
How do I get a quote?
There are several ways that you can receive a quote from us to send either a parcel or pallet. Firstly, you can fill out the online ‘Get a Quote’ form on our website, call us on 01686 621 190 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure you give our staff as much information as possible so we can give you an accurate quote.
Are there any restrictions on what I can send?
Station Couriers specialise in shipping parcels and pallets. However, we will also consider shipping other sized and shaped goods for you. We abide by strict UK laws with what goods are considered dangerous to ship. If you’re not sure if your goods are safe to ship, feel free to contact us.

What happens if the person who I am shipping to misses a delivery?
Don’t panic! If the recipient of the goods isn’t in when we attempt to deliver, there is an area on our website where you can rearrange your delivery to a day that suits you. You can also call us on 01686 621 190 where we can talk you through the options. Deliveries can only be made using the same service that was originally booked.
Can you help me to package my goods correctly for shipping?
Of course! Our staff can take care of this for you for a small charge. Just pop in to see us and we will be able to help you.
Will I be kept up to date with where my delivery is?
You are able to track your delivery on our website with the tracking or consignment code you are given when you send your parcel or pallet. If the receiver of the goods isn’t in and there is nothing on the consignment to leave it in a safe place, we will call the sender to ask what they would like us to do.
Do you offer same day delivery?
Under certain circumstances, we do offer same day delivery but this will be subject to negation and practicality. There is no more secure method of shipping your goods. Your driver will be entirely responsible for your goods until he received a signature from the recipient.
