We’re Donating £500 prize money to 2 Incredible Charities

Posted 28th July, 2021

As we are a key member of THE Pallet Network, we take part in their monthly Lottery Draw. This was a suggestion at one of our Regional TPN meetings in order to support charities local to our members.

We are excited to announce that we won the draw in June 2021! And have donated our winnings to two incredible charities of our choice.
Our Managing Directors, Chris and Julie Woolnough, and Director, Sian Jenkins, have chosen Welsh Air Ambulance Service as the lucky recipient of £500, as well as giving £500 to the John Eastwood Hospice Trust.

We hope that this will go some way to supporting the valuable service that these important establishments provide.

On top of this, we are also hosting a family fun day for charity at Welshpool Airport on the 3rd October to raise money for the Welsh Air Ambulance, where we will be pulling a lorry by hand down the length of the runway! We are also hoping to make this a world record… so keep your eyes peeled for more information regarding this exciting event, all for a great cause!

During these challenging times, and In a society where we are all too fast to complain when things are not as they should be, I believe in giving credit where credit is due.

I have recently received two deliveries from your company on behalf of Gravel Master U.K. and on both occasions by the same friendly and courteous driver (*Mark Lello*). Unfortunately I don't have his name, but it was his general manor, and the small gesture of putting the pallets in my garage, rather than leaving them kerbside that impressed me.

Please convey my sincere thanks to him.
