The Pallet Network receives backing from Eddie Stobart Logistics

Posted 2nd October, 2018

One of the pallet networks that Station Couriers are members of, The Pallet Network (TPN), have recently received long-term backing from Eddie Stobart Logistics.

The Pallet Network was acquired by Eddie Stobart Logistics this summer. TPN’s Managing Director, Mark Duggan, says that the move promises to open a new range of opportunities and benefits for the network’s members and customers.

The Pallet Network, and ourselves, are looking forward to exploring the opportunities that will come from joining the Eddie Stobart family.

“We already know they will make us more efficient, more cost-effective and give us the tools we need to realise TPN’s long-term strategy.

We are delighted to be in a long-term complementary partnership”, says Mark Duggan.

There are a number of immediate operational synergies which will help the network to maintain its high quality, low cost operating model. The Pallet Network are committed to offering a peak-proof operation regardless of the relentless growth in pallet volumes.

Station Couriers are proud to be a key member of TPN. We can offer next day, timed or economy deliveries for pallets throughout the UK. We have options for full, half and quarter sized pallets – we can even accommodate oversized pallets.

During these challenging times, and In a society where we are all too fast to complain when things are not as they should be, I believe in giving credit where credit is due.

I have recently received two deliveries from your company on behalf of Gravel Master U.K. and on both occasions by the same friendly and courteous driver (*Mark Lello*). Unfortunately I don't have his name, but it was his general manor, and the small gesture of putting the pallets in my garage, rather than leaving them kerbside that impressed me.

Please convey my sincere thanks to him.
